Mujhe naam na do (poem)

Kabhi to mujhe apne tajurbe se jaano,
Pehchaano mujhe, Mujhe naam na do,

Zindagi ne mujhe naam diya tha jo,
Taaki meri pehchaan karsake laakho mein woh,

Kayi dino tak kayi naame soche,
Phir socha chalo Shahzor naam rakhlo

Aaj naam se mujhe parkha jaata hai,
Mere khaandan mere yakin ko samjha jaata hai

Mujhe apna ya paraya parakhne ke liye,
Milte hi mera naame pucha jaata hai

Koshish karte hain log meri aadaton ka andaaza lagain,
Apne pichle logon se milne ke tajurbe ko aazmain,

Phir meri kuch baat buri lag jaaye to,
Mere saath hue kisse ko aage aur logon pe lagayein

Aisa sapna maangta hun gujarti raaton se,
Jaane mujhe log meri aadaton se

Samjhein ke mere jaise hain sabhi log,
Sabhi alag banjaate hain haalaton se.

Kabhi to mujhe apne tajurbe se jaano
Pehchaano mujhe, Mujhe naam na do.

Haste the log bulakar mujhe suvar sa safed ya raat sa kaala,
Itna bhi nahin socha is naam ne mera kya hashr kar daala.

Jab bistar se uthna, lagta tha dil ko bhaari,
Chalo ek aur din, karte karte diya saal guzaara,

Haste the log kehkar mujhe lambu ya mota,
Socha lamba hai sar phod lega, mota hai to hoga chota

Kaash rok deta un sabhi ko usi waqt,
Kya karein akela tha, jitne dost the unhein bhi khota.

Kyun nahin samajhte log aqliyat(minority) pe zimmedaari ko,
Jab jashn mana sakte hain aur badha sakte hain kalakaari ko,

Har soch, har zindagi, har zamin ko mile barabar Zaahirat (representation),
Gar nahin yakin to seekh lo is adaakaari ko,

Kabhi to mujhe apne tajurbe se jaano
Pehchaano mujhe, Mujhe pehchaan na do.

Kabhi to mujhe apne tajurbe se jaano
Pehchaano mujhe, Mujhe naam na do.

One Response to Mujhe naam na do (poem)

  1. Shahbaz Khan says:

Thak chuke hain, naam ka karz chukate chukate
Aakhir kab koi uske aage insaan dekhega

Bas sikha deta hai yeh humien tark karna
Jaat dharm se kab aakhir peecha chutega…
